I wanted to see them on the same day.  I spent a fair portion of the day looking at them and discussing the pros and cons of each one.  <\/p>\n<p>I also spent a lot of time on the phone talking to a mortgage company about funding options trying to find one that would work well for me.<\/p>\n<p>I spoke with my mom at length about them both as well.  After a long conversation I decided that I would make an offer on the townhouse and put a secondary offer on the condo should the townhouse fall through.  My mom thought that I should make the offer on the townhouse.
