We started by going to meet up with Vinny.  We did a walk of one mile to see how long it would take us.  This was to help with an accident investigation Vinny was doing.<\/p>\n<p>Then we went to deal with a dog bite problem near Tekoa.  It was a pretty quiet day with Paul.  But he had some good information for me.  One was that he uses the odometer.  He resets it every time he passes a mile marker that ends with zero or when he starts on a new road so he can easily tell someone exactly how far he is from a known point to have people more easily be able to find him.<\/p>\n<p>Fire training in Colfax was building construction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With fire training tonight I decided that I would see if I could set up a ride with Paul.
