After being unemployed for a long period of time I got a phone call today from Imprezzio offering me a contract job.\u00a0 It was not quite what I was expecting, but it is a job that will pay me and it will keep me out of debt.\u00a0 I would be ten-ninety-nine status and I would get less than I would like, but it is a starting point.\u00a0 I would start by working with the testing of a product that is getting ready to roll out.\u00a0 I would be the contact for various companies and Imprezzio.\u00a0 Then I would work with Brian on various projects.\u00a0 It was not one of those situations where I was going to just jump at it, because it is not at the level of pay I was hoping for, but it is nothing to walk away from either.<\/p>\n
I also had an interview with one other company based in Seattle.\u00a0 I am not sure I am what they are looking for.\u00a0 I can hold my own when it comes to programming, but I cannot show it in an interview setting.\u00a0 I could have had a job a long time ago if I was able to impress in an interview.<\/p>\n
This evening I was working at the fire department.\u00a0 Tonight is the first home game weekend of the season.\u00a0 We started by working the Pullman High football game.\u00a0 They played Moscow and got shut out.\u00a0 Then we did fire patrols in the parking lots around campus.\u00a0 We had one call happen during that time.<\/p>\n
Later that night we have three calls come in right around the same time.\u00a0 Then it just got quiet and we didn’t have anything for the rest of the night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
