Video Editing first try

June 20th, 2005

After I got home from work today I decided to get my video editing going. I got a new hard drive, a USB and Firewire card, some cables from Fry’s and I went home and got them in the computer. Got the software installed and tried to do a capture. I found my computer was too slow to record at a high resolution. It sucked. It was dropping a lot of frames. I could only record at a lower rate. Then I also was not getting audio. So I ended up recording some of the tubing from the river without sound. Then I put it to a sound track. I made some slow motion parts and it turned out pretty nice. It took a lot of hours to get it to all get captured, edited and put to music. Then I copied it to my thumb drive. I did not get to bed until almost four in the morning.
