A very nice dinner

June 14th, 2005

I have been getting up earlier than normal lately. I have also been going to bed earlier so I suppose that has something to do with it.

Noah, Ricky, Chris, and I went to pizza for lunch. We talked about the typical things. Computers and programming. After lunch Chris had his meeting with Diane. Then he asked to talk to me. The company decided to give a ninety day trial where I would work the Pullman Fire Schedule. So it would more or less be about fifty percent of the month there and fifty percent here. I was stoked.

I sent an E-mail to Mike at Pullman Fire to say that I am coming back. I told him that I could meet him on Friday to get the paperwork completed and a list of training items I would need to complete. He replied that would be good. I am stoked. I am like a kid waiting for Christmas. I am waiting for Friday so I can sign the paperwork and make it official.

After work I went to Bell Square to meet Joe He was going to take me to dinner for the work I have been doing on his website. We walked around the mall for a little bit while waiting for our reservation time at Daniel’s Broiler. It is a nice place so I had to wear pants and a collared shirt. People at work were asking if I had an interview somewhere because I was dressed up.

Joe and I sat outside the Bon waiting for Doug. We talked about the website and I told Joe the kind of spec’s I needed from him. After going over it pretty well, Doug showed up and we walked to Daniel’s Broiler. It is on the twenty-first floor of a building in Bellevue. It was a great view. I had a Filet Mignon and mashed potatoes. It was about a thirty-five dollar meal for me alone. We were there for a couple hours eating and talking. I was up there where I could watch the sun go down and day turn into night. While talking to Doug I found out he was in Seattle for training and his roommate is Tom Riverman from Moscow’s Bon store. What a small world.

We went back to the mall to get our vehicles. We were thinking about going out to a bar, but Doug did not want to. So Joe and I sat in the parking lot for about twenty minutes talking and listening to some Ron White.

I headed home myself and did a few things online. I also told my mom that I would working in Pullman in the future for part of the month. I am so stoked!
