Seeing an Old Friend

After my workout I went to George’s office in the IT building on campus. We spent a couple hours catching up on the latest changes around campus. One of which is the restructuring of SCS. George has been moved from SCS and is no longer in charge of it. That is a sad day. SCS is what it is today because of the years of work George has done. It is not clear what is next on George’s plate.

I also went to the Carothers Road structure fire critique. We talked about what happened and how things could have gone better and how things went well. It was a productive meeting.
